Deploying Mesh-Aware Services in Multiple Clusters

With our EKS clusters, App Mesh controllers, and Cloud Map namespace in place, it’s time to deploy actual services into the mesh. You’ll deploy two demo services distributed across the two EKS clusters, with automatic Envoy sidecar injection enabled to integrate them into the mesh. You’ll register these services with both App Mesh and Cloud Map, and configure the necessary virtual components—virtual nodes, virtual services, and virtual routers—to define service discovery and routing behavior. Finally, you’ll test cross-cluster service-to-service communication to validate that the multi-region setup is functioning as intended.
